He re-built a ruined crofthouse into a family home by himself with a little help from family and friends. This is where our children were brought up and where we all love to come back to whenever we can.
Tigh Zed sleeps up to 7 people in 3 bedrooms, has separate bathroom and shower-rooms (each with wc), living-room, rustic kitchen with dining area and separate utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. There is a freezer in the linen store.
The garden is a 'wild' garden with shrubs, trees and a small patio. There is an outside drying area and a Sheila Maid (clothes pulley) in the kitchen.
The sleeping accommodation is in the stone part of the house on the right (the bottom leg of the Z), the front door, bathroom and shower-room are in the middle section, the kitchen and living-room are in the white part of the house (the top leg of the Z) while the building on the left is a garage which currently serves as a boat shelter.
